Friends

When there is nothing much on television that catches my eye, you can always find a re run of a friends episode, and it still makes me laugh today. It has to be, without doubt, one of the most popular TV shows of its time.

I love this show but I have never been able to see the last episode. Does Joey and Rachael ever get together?

Friends is simply amazing in every possible way. This will remain one of the best TV shows ever at least for me.

Everyone seems to love friends, but my question is why? What is the recipe for the success that friends has had? If someone came up to me and told me a high level view of the script ie (6 people, New York, blah blah) I would say nah that's just boring. So, what is it?

I agre the script on paper was very weak but I think that the chemistry that the guys had was brilliant and everyone could relate to one of the characters so it made it more believable.

I think it is a case that there is a good mixture of comedy and emotion which makes you believe in the characters. Everyone has a favorite Friends character, and the situations that they sometimes find themselves in are easy to relate to. All this combines to make a good television show.

bear in mind each episode of friends is written by 3 or more people. the producers know they have a great product, and want to keep it that way. thats why they have several avenues of input that they can change around to maintain the flow

also, the cast have some of the best comedy timing i have seen, particularly david schwimmer

what i want to know is - where is jennifer aniston's Oscar? i think she's the most talented of the bunch, and has so far done some good dramas (check the good girl). she's the one who will emerge as the most prolific film-wise

Ross has gone into directing so he will make it big there and I do agree that raheal is the better actor out of the rest.

I watch a couple of those from time to time but you just sometimes want something new from them. It makes you reminice about the good old days when you used to rush home to watch the new episode.
