Question About "Scrubs" TV Show?

Hi Everyone!
I really like the tv comedy Scrubs but there is something I don't quite understand.
I know that the janitor is always trying to trip up JD and ruin his day. Why? Why does the janitor seem to hate JD so much? What did JD do to him?
