Does BluRay movies makes difference to DVD movies?

know that Blu-Ray can save more files, it can record very clean from TV shows, more pixels, but if I were to watch this only for movies, will it makes much of difference

Yep, the resolution is far better than a dvd. But recently, there are some dvd players that can upscale the movie but not that great compared to a real bluray movie.

Dont mention the war (I'm more of a HD DVD man myself).

It all comes down to how they decide to master each individual movie. Blu Ray is just the format, after all, something shot on your average home video camera is not going to look any better on a Blu Ray than it will on a DVD.
