Home Improvement Shows

I find these shows fascinating but they are also terribly inspirational. Do you think the push toward more DIY programming will have a negative impact on the construction industry?

I don't think so.There's so many people who will pay for someone else to do it.I think depending on the person and their age they may say this is what I want *insert pictures and explinations* but they wont attempt it themselves.I think some are willing to pay more to have it done since they may screw up, or have to call out someone after their screw up.=/

Some I like some I hate! People will always try things themselves but wont be able to do everything.

I like to watch flip this house but that is about it. I don't like the regular prime time give homes away type of shows.

The only people that will try to DIY are those that are trying to save a few bucks. But then they may do it right and don't have all the knowledge. Their fore, I will say no, this will not hurt the construction industry.
