I love the Back to the Future movies, but I can't stand Michael J. Fox anymore. Not since last year when he came to my state and campaigned for some legislation that I considered redundant, wasteful, and immoral. But since he wasn't doing that 20 years ago when he made BttF, I can watch those.

Now, I purposely didn't mention the issue in here! That's probably a discussion for another forum, anyway. But it won; it passed at the election, so apparently Fox's campaigning was effective.

Ah, a spot of googling and all is revealed. Quite right Elessar, that's not a topic for debate on spittinflicks. But whatever his politics, the fact that he's fighting through his illness and hasn't withdrawn from public life altogether has to be admired I think.

I agree; I do admire people who press on and don't give up. And I heard recently that he has a new acting job, but I don't know what it's in.

Among his movies, I would always associate Michael with his 80's movie, Back To The Future. I remember watching his movies in the cinema with my family when I was a kid.

yes i think he is a very funny and talented actor and it's very sad that he's going through such a horrible disease at such a young age, but, i admire his courage.
