What's your favorite Steve Martin movie? Do you like his comedies or his more serious work. Personally, I perfer his comedy work, especially Planes, Trains and Automobiles.

I had high hopes for Shopgirl (which he stared in and was based on his novella) but it was only alright. I think his last great film IMHO was Bowfinger, which really does not get the credit it deserves. If you ask me, it's right up there with The Player in the best films about Hollywood category!
Bowfinger, give it some love (also the last good movie the once great Eddie Murphy made, if memory serves!)
