Connery has to be the best Bond. He originated the role and if he hadn't been that good the series may well have fizzled out pretty quickly. The best film is On Her Majesty's Secret Service. George Lazenby, while no Connery, is far better suited to the role than Brosnan ever was. A real tough guy who handled the action scenes brilliantly.

For me, whenever I read the IAN FLEMMING novels, I always see TIMOTHY DALTON as BOND in my mind. A pity he only did two of the films, though!

Funny, while his movies were not the best (althought the first one was pretty good) I always thought Dalton was the best and ironically (given most people's love for the current Bond) the one closest to Daniel Craig's Bond.
