Has anyone seen The Mummy?

I'm just curious to if its worth going to the theater to see. My sons birthday is Thursday and as he really wants to see it, I've been thinking of surprising him and going.

Have not seen it yet, but all the reviews I've read were not great (but not awful either).
Depending on your sons age, he might be quite forgiving and enjoy it, but for those of us who are slightly more critical (and don't find the concept of Yeti's doing NFL gags funny), I think it would be best to wait for the DVD.

He will be 7 on thursday so I'm sure the corny aspects of the movie won't bother him much.lol. I would prefer to wait but we're considering going as a birthday gift....or, if Kung Fu Panda is still playing, maybe he'll opt for that. lol
