I had heard nothing bad nor had I seen any rotten reviews about Paranormal Activity... so was very excited to go and see this film that had 'Shocked America...'
I was disapointed! I usually enjoy horror films for their comedy value more than anything else and thought this would make a pleasant change, but nope... I laughed, aloud at the over exagerated everything in front of my eyes!
Any other thoughts on this film?

I think it's one of those horror movies for people who don't usually like horror movies.
So all us horror fans just end up wondering what all the fuss is about.
I guess everything is relative.

I recently saw PARANORMAL ACTIVITY on DVD and quite liked it. A friend of mine did not, though, as she had never been a fan of similar films such as THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT and CLOVERFIELD but decided to watch it anyway after hearing good reviews. Despite her lukewarm reaction, however, she did confess that PARANORMAL ACTIVITY gave her nightmares for a couple of nights afterwards!
