I agree I would only take mine if it was a film they wanted to see not take them for the sake of taking them!

It all depends on how well the child is--- also-- if they make a fuss can you get up and go? I think if you can- you can take them when they are younger--- to a kid movie-- one that they will enjoy- Maybe 3 or 4.

6 months old is wayyyy too young to be taking a kid into a movie theater. I think he would have the same experience at home in front of your TV as he would at a theater, plus you do not run the risk of disturbing other people that have paid good money to see the movie. I agree with a previous poster, when a child is old enough to sit at home, be quiet, and be entertained through an entire movie, then they are ready to go to a theater, but not before then - it is just common courtesy.

Depends, if it is children based movie, obviously we can take any child who can understand the language. Apart from that, I suppose, we can't control them from going to Cinemas. So, we should take them to cinemas but just be careful in choosing which cinema you are going.

When they can sit through a movie and not annoy other patrons or their parents is a good age to start.

If the baby is the type to sleep through the movie at that age, I don't see the problem with it...thats what we did with the boys. If we wanted to see a movie and couldn't get a babysitter, we either timed it around nap time or stayed home. Keep in mind that we were taking the other kids to a kids movie so it wasn't like it was super quiet there anyway.
