I was really angry that the network felt it necessary to keep switching camera view instead of hanging back to a point where the ritual was meant to be viewed... which was from the viewpoint of the person in the stands at about half way up the stadium. I didn't enjoy the commentary and teh announcers missed a chance to explain the overall meaning of the ritual like the casting of the circle at the very beginning.
Do you think the opening ritual will be offered on DVD without the fancy camera work and commentary?
The tight shots that were part of the broadcast could be in a commentary disk the way many indy movies are arranged, preserving the experience as it was meant to be viewed.
